Para-ammonobenzoic acid (PABA) is an organic compound from the group of amino acids. It is sometimes called vitamin B10 although in fact it is not a vitamin. It is found in food products: brewer's yeast, offal, some types of meat, mushrooms, whole grain products, spinach, yogurt, and is also synthesized by intestinal bacteria.

PABA is a precursor and takes part in the formation of folic acid, thanks to which it has a beneficial effect on body functions related to cell division and energy metabolism.
